Aluminium

The soundbar’s enclosure is completely fashioned from brushed aluminium, an expensive material prized in loudspeaker construction for its light weight and low resonating qualities combined with excellent strength and stability.

The T 4000 SW bridges the divide between easy room integration and mega bass playback. An incredibly flat enclosure makes it easy to place the T 4000 where it won’t get in your way. That small space behind the sofa or coffee table is enough. In fact, the T 4000 is so slender, it can even be positioned under most sofas, wall mounted or used to support your television. Its highly robust, reinforced MDF enclosure was designed to withstand the weight of conventional televisions making it the ideal sonic pedestal.

In spite of its highly convenient dimensions, T 4000 is driven by 250 watts for power to spare. A three driver system that is already successfully employed in Teufel’s highly popular System 4 THX model is used here as well. This ensures balanced playback based on THX standards and produces powerful, deep bass all the way down to 35 Hz for home cinema that makes you part of the action. Even very high levels are accompanied by very little distortion thanks to the long throw-drivers used.

The T 4000 is a universal subwoofer that can be combined with just about any home cinema set, even very high-performance models. This means the T 4000 is perfect for accompanying surround speakers or for giving an already complete 5.1 set an extra boost.

Subwoofer Wireless Modul

This wireless module is for use with the T 4000 subwoofer and CoreStation A/V receiver. The module is simply plugged in to a dedicated space at the back of the T 4000.

The wireless module's connection status appears on the CoreStation’s OSD menu as displayed on the television. On the back of the subwoofer alongside the plug for the module is a button and status LED for wirelessly connecting the sub and A/V receiver. Establishing a connection is just as quick and easy as pairing two Bluetooth devices.

Once an initial connection has been established, the CoreStation and T 4000 will automatically pair with each other as long as they are within a 10 meter range and switched on. A wireless connection between A/V receiver and subwoofer makes living room integration even easier without compromising on signal quality. The bass signal is transmitted in lossless sound quality for the same power and punch as a wireless connection.
