Raumfeld Stereo M

"The Stereo M and Stereo L comprise the top tier of the Raumfeld product palette. Unrivaled, full-bodied sound and a timeless, sophisticated design characterize these speakers. The Stereo M transfers any living room into a concert stage. Thanks to 3-way system, the stereo speakers achieve a sonic performance that is without equal. In this way, at-home jazz concerts become authentic musical experiences.”Translated from the original German.

Design, Material & Workmanship"A really cool feature is the removable protective speaker grilles which adhere to the cabinets magnetically.“"There’s simply nothing to find fault with in the workmanship or the design.”Setup & controls"If the loudspeakers are connected to each other, the setup can begin and is just as easy in this case as with all other Raumfeld speakers.“Sound"Smiles immediately sprang to our faces when [...] the first strains played from the speakers. The sound is simply insanely good. Colloquially, one would say, "The speakers offer a lot of bang for the buck.” "The large tweeter, midrange driver and woofer generate a full, well-balanced and truly pure sound. Above all the precision and volume of the sound makes the listening experience a real pleasure. The Stereo M can bring the dynamic and powerful sound of a rock concert to your living room or conjure up relaxing and light jazz. For every occasion and musical taste, these loudspeakers do a good job. I’m hooked!” Conclusion"With the Stereo M, Raumfeld brought the first true 3-way bookshelf speaker with a WiFI streaming module to the market and did an outstanding job.“ "I have a clear conscience in giving the Stereo M’s sound the rating “exceptional.””

“From the very beginning, the compact loudspeakers sound truly large. Rock music has a solid foundation, snare drums and electric guitars have a substantial sound and are powerfully played back. The combination of the 140 mm drivers and bass reflex vent ensures plenty of sound pressure in the midbass and upper bass range.”“Vocals are very vividly positioned between the stereo M’s so that the playback becomes nearly tangible.““The Stereo M’s imaging is at a very high level for a bookshelf speaker. It clearly outplayed a multi-room system we were familiar with in a direct comparison. Its lively playback is especially noticeable with smaller musical groups and modern pop and rock productions. The loudspeakers are easy to set up [...] and commendably fill even larger rooms. With the Stereo M, Raumfeld has succeeded in making a worthy successor to its midsized streaming loudspeaker. We liked the simple controls, large variety of audio formats and true hi-fi sound. For the Stereo M, there is no competition in sight.”Translated from the original German.

"Even the largest speakers delineate spatial dimensions precisely and localize instruments with great care on an imaginary stage, just as we expected. Foundational tones lend the Stereo M pair a rather warm, powerful timbre. The treble shines with a bit more restraint but also with a consistently adequate power. What did surprise was how generously Raumfeld dosed the bass tones – they were much stronger than one would expect from speakers of this size.”From Wolfgang Tunze

"The sound quality satisfies even high expectations. The controls are just like the other Raumfeld devices"The Raumfeld Stereo M was a winner in a comparison test of 11 WiFi speakers, achieving a score of 1.86 (on a scale of 1 to 6).Translated from the original German.

"[...] They have very balanced playback with a powerful yet in no way exaggerated foundational tone, clean mids and clear highs. And their 3-dimensionality is naturally far better than any all-in-one speaker: A clever solution for everyone who would like to forgo hi-fi towers but not a full stereo sound.”Conclusion:"Solid wooden cabinets and 3-way technology with faultless sound and full 3-dimensionality.”"Of all the loudspeakers, Raumfeld’s ’Stereo M‘ appealed to us the most  [...]"Translated from the original German.
