Looking inside the Cage Pro, we find 40 mm linear HD drivers that deliver impressive sound, with a clear, well-defined bass and well-balanced low and mid frequencies. In addition, the headset provides a virtual 7.1 experience via DTS v2 technology. It’s a bit of an unexpected standout, so to speak. In games like Call of Duty, I’m repeatedly struck by how intense the audio is—the passing aircraft, the gunfire—it all comes through very clearly, and that’s exactly why I’ve started using this headset more often.
